Our workhorse. This is what's under almost every sticker we ship. Thin enough to paint itself onto whatever it's stuck to, tough enough to carry a 7-year outdoor rating before we've even printed on it. It'll outlast your laptop's planned obsolescence, easily.
These are about two-thirds the thickness of a sheet of notebook paper. At that thickness it lays dead flat with zero edge lift, with a real "painted on" look. It's also delicate: the backing can cause the whole sticker to curl a bit in your hand before you remove it. If you need a sticker that will lay perfectly flat and has more heft to it, our "Stick to Anything" stickers are a lot thicker, and lay perfectly flat.
This adhesive's built for long-term application to smooth, everyday surfaces: laptops, water bottles, windows, anything flat. We don't recommend these for things like Yeti coolers, RotopaX containers, or plastic fenders. For low energy plastics, we reach for a different tool in the belt, here.
Matte White and Gloss White are always in stock, ready to print the moment your order comes in, and cost the same either way. Holographic and Chrome are a different story. The specific roll sizes we run aren't always easy to source from our supplier, so if we're out when your order lands, expect up to a week added to your lead time while we get a fresh roll in. If it's not in stock, we'll contact you with lead times in minutes, and give you the option to cancel your order if it's not going to work for you, no sweat.
Chrome and Holographic work differently than a regular print, too. We lay your image directly onto the mirror or holographic finish with the white channel turned off, so any white in your design doesn't print white ink. Instead, it shows the raw finish underneath: bare mirror chrome, or holographic shimmer.
That makes this material genuinely good for one specific job: Getting attention. We use it a lot for outlining racing numbers on motorcycle plastics. Design your number with a yellow outline and a white fill, and it comes out as a yellow-outlined number with a mirror finish sitting inside it. The yellow prints as ordinary yellow ink, no metallic effect there. Only the white shows the finish.
If you want the whole sticker mirrored, not just the white parts of it, that's a different product. Our holographic and special-effect laminates cover full-sticker mirror finishes, with their own lead times.
